There was a long queue to get in when the doors opened to the Torucon exhibition in Trondheim Spektrum on Saturday morning.

The two-day fair is a popular event for young people who like to create costumes and effects and dress up as their favorite characters from video games, comics and movies.

The phenomenon is called cosplay, and the best and most elaborate costumes win prizes and a chance to be crowned Nordic champion in Linköping, Sweden, next year.
