This year's Torucon will take place at the beautiful Clarion Hotel Trondheim at Brattørkaia. We have access to beautiful, spacious premises with a number of lecture and activity rooms, a milling area and our own entrance!
We also have our own Cooling Lounge for fursuits.

The hotel is within walking distance of both the bus stop and Trondheim Central Station.

Its location by the Trondheimsfjord provides spectacular views and great opportunities for photoshoots.

IMPORTANT! Clarion is rebuilding from August 2024.

This means that the queue will be a little narrower this year, and that it will not be possible to stay in the square outside. Luckily, there are plenty of great places to hang out and take photos on the other side of the street (Toldboden), or over towards Rockheim and Simens Isbar. There's a park, seating and fjord views.

There is little traffic right outside the hotel, but there is still a road, so remember not to stand in the middle of the road! Stay on the sidewalk.

The hotel has an underground parking garage (275,- per day*, Charging price, electric car: 3,- per kWh).

There is paid outdoor parking in the surrounding area. Free in the city center after 16:00.

*Please note that you will be charged every time you drive in/out of the underground parking garage.

Bus:

The nearest bus stop is Pirbadet, which is served by AtB lines 21 and 23.

Line 25 stops a stone's throw away, at the Hurtigbåtterminalen.

Lines 2, 10, 79 and 311 stop at Trondheim Central Station, close by.

Flybus:

Normally, the Værnesekspressen stops at the Pirbadet stop. Currently, this stop is not served, and the nearest stop is Solsiden.

By airport bus, it takes approximately 40-45 minutes from Trondheim Airport Værnes to the hotel.

Train:

Trondheim Central Station is an 8-minute walk from the hotel. There is a direct train from Trondheim Airport Værnes to Trondheim Central Station.

This year, hotel rooms are booked through a separate link. You can find this on your ticket.
Prices are per night, including breakfast.

There are a limited number of rooms available, so book before they run out! The code will not appear on tickets purchased after the hotel is full.

NOTE: Due to high demand around the event, this year we have only been able to reserve rooms up to two months before Torucon. We therefore recommend purchasing tickets before June if you wish to take advantage of the discount.

Rema 1000 is a two-minute walk from Clarion if you need groceries (NB! Closed Sunday)
And across the street you will find Simens Isbar, which always serves up its own flavors to Torucon's visitors.

Our closest neighbors are Pirbadet, Brattøra Skatepark and Rockheim, if you want to do something before or after Torucon.

There are several hotel options within easy walking distance of Torucon, if Clarion is fully booked.
These include Clarion Collection Grand Olav, P-Hotels Brattøra, Scandic Nidelven, Thon Hotels Nidaros and Scandic Sosiden.

Rumi Hostel is also within walking distance and offers student discounts.
