Important info about the Cosplay & Craftmanship competition

Important information regarding the Cosplay & Craftsmanship competition!

For several years, the winner of the Master Cosplay category at Torucon has qualified to participate in the Nordic Cosplay Championship (NCC). During this period, the NCC has developed a lot, and they continue to do so! There will be more countries and participants every year, and from 2026, the NCC will take some new and exciting directions. One change will be that there will only be 1 participant from each country.
In collaboration with NCC and Banzaicon, we have decided that Banzaicon will continue with qualification for NCC here in Norway.
This means that the winner of Master Cosplay at Torucon 2025 will NOT qualify for NCC 2026.

(Our winner from 2024 will still participate in NCC 2025, in case there was any doubt about that.
We will provide information about how this will change our competition in the long term, and what may replace the NCC qualification.)

We would like to thank NCC for a long and great collaboration, and will of course continue to cheer on Team Norway!
