Hundreds are eagerly waiting for the highlight of the year to begin. Many have been preparing for months... and now they're finally ready to show off what they've been working on. This year's Torucon is underway.

Hit the streets is a feature included in every issue of The List. We literally hit the streets of Trondheim, either at events or points of interest in the city to talk to locals and visitors alike. In this edition of "hit the streets" The List team attended Torucon - a cosplay convention that happened this summer in Clarion Hotel & Congress Trondheim - and asked them about their Christmas wishes.

Now that you know the background, it's time to meet the cosplayers.

Torucon is an annual festival for the glorification of all geek culture, from sci-fi and fantasy to LARP and cosplay, board games, gaming and Asian pop culture. The festival is held at Clarion Hotel Trondheim, and is organized on a voluntary basis.

The story: Torucon 2019 is currently underway - a cultural festival for people with fantastic leisure pursuits.

This weekend, Torucon will be held for the eighth year in a row. The event at Brattørkaia is Norway's largest cosplay festival. Trine Ericzon from Trondheim will dress up as Wonder Woman.

In an attempt to learn more about these interesting costumes, NRK Trøndelag's reporters go out to interview cosplayers who are putting the finishing touches on their costumes before Torucon.
