Description

In this panel, you will learn about modeling for 3D printing, software for sending the model to the printer, filament and what you should look for in a 3D printer if you are thinking of purchasing one. Through practical examples, you will get tips on avoiding overhang and adjusting layer height for a smooth surface. We will compare the most important filament types – from PLA and PETG to flexible TPU – and explain how the right temperature settings affect both strength and finish. You will learn what build volume, heated build plate and extruder type mean for print quality and usability. In short, it will be a good introduction to how to go from a model on the PC to a physical model in your hand!
