The lecture will be about the physical weapons that we have found in the ground from the Viking Age. In the Norwegian museums we have the world's largest collection of weapons from the Viking Age. What do the findings say about how the weapons looked and were used, and what significance did they have in the past? Reconstructed weapons based on real finds will be shown - and we will of course answer the big question: did the Vikings have horns on their helmets?
