The CosCast is back, just as dedicated as ever to bring you the news and feedback from the community. In this episode we will be talking a whole lot about Torucon which we attended last weekend, but we will also be talking about our exciting plans for the upcoming season!

Last weekend was a party for everyone with fantastic hobbies in Trondheim. We sent Frida to Torucon, and here is her report from the event.

We will be broadcasting in front of a live audience, and we will be joined by fantastic guests. Namely Theriza's Cosplay and Stickweeds Crafting and cosplay!

This weekend, the city will be filled with "nerd culture" and superheroes when the Torucon festival kicks off.

As always, bunads and suits adorned Trondheim during this year's 17 May, but when it was time for the parade, the more eye-catching and creative costumes came out. See the photo gallery in the case.

What everyone we asked about this lady had in common was that they had something positive to say, and they usually couldn't choose just one positive thing to say. At the same time, we must emphasize that we want to give a nod to the entire board of ToruCon, you do a great job. The cosplay name of the year 2015 is Eirin Ellingsen.

Well, what can you say? It was good? It was cool? It was cozy?
No, none of these words are adequate when it comes to describing this year's Torucon. What a con! I look forward to going every year.

Torucon, an annual festival focusing on cosplay, fantasy, games and comics, is being held this weekend for the fifth time in Trondheim. Cosplay celebrity Trine Ericzon shines as one of the judges in the main competition.

Is it possible to organize a con with a cosplay competition in the city associated with moustaches and RBK? Obviously, since Torucon was held for the fourth year in a row on August 9-10. On Saturday, Kristine and Stine went to Lerkendal to look at costumes and listen to lectures.

Cosplay, popular culture and everything else cool was on the agenda at Torucon this year. We were there, took pictures and had a great time in Trondheim.

The festival that celebrates nerd culture to the fullest kicked off in Trondheim today.

Trine Ericzon from Trondheim is making a name for herself both in Norway and internationally due to her resemblance to 'Game of Thrones' character Margaery Tyrell.

There was a long queue to get in when the doors opened to the Torucon fair in Trondheim Spektrum on Saturday morning.

The fair takes place over two days and is a popular event for young people who like to make costumes and effects and dress up as their favorite characters from computer games, comics and movies.

The phenomenon is called cosplay, and the best and most complete costumes win prizes and an opportunity to be named Nordic champion in Linköping, Sweden, next year.
