About ABCostumes

Anniken or AB costumes is a Norwegian cosplayer, costume maker and bunad maker apprentice who has been cosplaying for over 10 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in Costume and performance design in England and has previously worked for the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. She is currently working towards a journeyman's certificate in bunad making and has a strong interest in historical costumes. She has specialized in sewing and traditional techniques, but also works a lot with embroidery both on machine and by hand. 

Anniken has been competing since 2019 and represented Norway in E2C in 2023. As a judge, she looks for neat seams, good craftsmanship techniques, breadth of expertise and charisma on stage!
