Started cosplaying in 2006.
Freddie Ravn likes to be a “jack of all trades, master of none.” They tinker with a little bit of everything, but especially love craftmanship and props.
I love challenges, and having to figure out how to make weird things. And acquiring new knowledge, working without a recipe, and developing solutions.
They have a Bachelor of Performance Arts as a “Prop Maker and Stage Manager”. They work professionally as a prop maker and set painter at the theater, and also do some sfx work.
Freddie Ravn has competed in smaller craftmanship competitions (and won copycat and 'best makeup'), but says they haven't had any particular drive towards the larger competitions. They love high craftmanship, but don't have a 'competitive bone' in their bodies. They have, however, worked a lot with cosplay opening shows.
