Description

Do you like painting miniatures? We now give you the chance to show off your best self-painted miniature at Torucon! This competition is open to all kinds of miniatures! Both miniatures for rpg games, war games or collectibles are welcome here!

The competition is an exhibition, where the judges will view the miniatures and judge them before the exhibition opens to the public. Photos will also be taken of all the miniatures during the judging. You must submit your miniature to the infodesk before 11:00 AM on Sunday, August 10th, so that it can be included in the judging.

The judges will focus on execution, technique and overall impression of the miniatures to select the winners in each category. Read more about the rules and categories below!

Rules for the competition

  • All types of miniatures are allowed (D&D, Warhammer, LotR, etc.).

  • You must have painted the miniature yourself.

  • We have 2 different categories that you can register for:

    • Fantasy: The miniature must be a fantasy figure or fantasy monster. The entry can be a maximum of 10 cm tall (including any decorations and base), and have a base of a maximum of 10 cm in diameter. The base can be decorated, but there must be a single figure in this category.

    • Sci-Fi: The miniature must be a sci-fi figure or sci-fi monster. The entry can be a maximum of 10 cm tall (including any decorations and base), and have a base of a maximum of 10 cm in diameter. The base can be decorated, but there must be a single figure in this category.

  • You can enter in both categories if you wish, but you can have a maximum of 1 miniature in each category.

  • To register, please fill out the registration form at the bottom of the page. Registration is open until Friday, August 8th at 11:59 PM.

  • The thumbnails must be delivered to the infodesk on Sunday, August 10, before 11:00 AM.

  • The miniatures must be picked up between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 10. Please contact the infodesk to pick up your miniature so that it is registered that it has been picked up.
