About Helen Kaldheim
She is referred to as the creator of Norway's first manga, and is the creator of 'Mørkalven', which is published by Egmont Forlag.
Helen started Mørkalven when she was at Folkehøgskole. She is also a trained illustrator and has been a fixture in the Norwegian Art-Stand community for several years.
She has also worked as a comics teacher both privately and in schools. She now travels to libraries, schools and conventions, where she teaches manga classes for young people.
Previously, she held the workshop 'Mørkalven: From webcomic to Norwegian published manga' at Torucon.
We are looking forward to having her back again this year!
