Description
Do you and your friends enjoy making skits? Are you passionate about the performance part of cosplay? Well, then this is the competition for you!
This year again, Torucon invites you to a group cosplay competition, where the focus is on show and performance. In this competition, you can be from 2 to 6 people participating together in a group. There is no focus on crafts, so you are allowed to participate with both purchased and self-made costumes. Your sketch/show can be a maximum of 3 minutes long, but you are allowed to sing, dance, act and more!
The prizes are as follows:
Winner group: 4000 NOK.
Runner up group: 2000 NOK.
The prize money must be divided among the group members.
The rules in brief:
The group must be 2-6 people.
The sketch/show can be a maximum of 3 minutes long.
Both purchased and self-made costumes are allowed.
The performances cannot contain explicit blood/violence/nudity/etc.
It is allowed to bring props to use on stage, but there is only 30 seconds for scene changes. It is therefore not recommended to bring many/complicated props. Props cannot be stored backstage before/after the competition, and participants themselves must take responsibility for carrying heavy/fragile/complicated props on stage. It is possible to borrow tables/chairs to use on stage. This must be stated in the registration form.
Registration only in advance. All files for background/music/etc. must be submitted at the same time as registration.
We have 6 microphones (mosquitoes) available. If a microphone is needed for the performance, this must be stated in the registration form.
Age limit 13 years. (Participants under 15 years must have written permission from parents to be photographed)
The group must arrive backstage at least 15 minutes before the competition starts. If you do not arrive, you will lose your place in the competition.
