First time at Torucon alone? Or maybe you just want to get to know new people in the community? Finding like-minded people is extra easy at con, but sometimes it's good to have a little push to take the first step.
Come and join Speedfriending!

As the name suggests, this is a fast-paced activity, where you sit together in pairs and have a set number of minutes to chat together before moving on to the next place and the next person.

It may sound a little scary, but here are ice breakers that can be used to get the conversation started, or how about starting the conversation by asking about each other's cosplay, or fandoms?

Come by [room], find a spot, and meet others with similar interests! Maybe you'll find your next con bestie?

The activity is hosted by Upolert, Trondheim Public Library's events group for young people.

This group organizes similar activities, as well as book baths, author talks and hangouts throughout the year. You can also find them at a stand in Aurora C!
