About Unpolished:
Upolert organizes events for and by young people at Trondheim Public Library. About once a month we invite you to various events both inside and outside the library.
Our events range from super cozy hangouts, Blind Date With a Book or Speed-friending, to more serious panel discussions, book baths and Pride events. We have had guests from Oliver Lovrenski, Neda Alaei and Baksnakk.
Occasionally we have a game night or a movie. During Culture Night last year, our theme was 'Cursed Content', and we have also had writing workshops on both blackout poetry and fanfics.
New this year is the event series 'Upolert Besøker', where we visit other cultural venues in Trondheim. So far we have visited the Kunsthallen and Kosmorama. And in June we will visit Rockheim.
Our target group is young people under the age of 25 who are interested in culture, literature, art, nerd culture and social debate.
All our events are drug-free and free to attend!
This year you will find us at Torucon! Come by our booth and have a chat, get a book review and leave one yourself!
We are also looking forward to hosting Speed Friending on Saturday!
