About Elisabeth Aarebrot Madsen
Elisabeth Aarebrot Madsen is an illustrator and educator who works with both book and game illustrations. Elisabeth is from Florø, but lives in Trondheim and has worked as a 2D artist in the game industry since 2013.
She is the one who designed the first Sami superheroine, Raanaa – the shaman girl, which is a mobile game in collaboration with Miksapix Interactive and Red Stage Entertainment.
In addition to character design for the game, she has also created the illustrations for the film clips in the game.
Elisabeth has also been involved in developing the school platform skole.samiskeventyr.no together with Miksapix Interactive, where you can play educational games based on both the Norwegian and Sami curricula.
In addition to working freelance in the gaming industry, Elisabeth travels around with the cultural school bag to teach children how to make their own games.
